Branch 1 | Cone Angle

  • Sets taper angle as End3 branch blends into the main fitting body of a conical tee.
Branch 2 | Cone Angle <angle value>
  • Sets taper angle as End4 branch blends into the main fitting body of a conical tee.
Connection 1 | Length (L1) Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets straight length at End1 for rectangular shapes.
  • Sets male connection length at End1 for round and oval shapes.
  • Sets male connection length for all end conditions on reducers.

    The default connection lengths for nested fittings are set to 0.

Connection 2 | Length (L2) Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets straight length at End2 for rectangular shapes.
  • Sets male connection length at End2 for round and oval shapes.
Connection 3 | Length (L3) Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets straight length at End3 for rectangular shapes.

Inlet to branch1 offset (X11) <numeric value>
  • Sets center line distance between End1 connect point and the divergence point of side branch leading to End3.
Inlet to branch2 offset (X12) <numeric value>
  • Sets center line distance between End1 connect point and the divergence point of side branch leading to End4.
Inset1

<numeric value> greater than or equal to zero.

  • Sets distance from End1 connect point to left side of End3 (saddle). Limited by System1 Assembly property.
Inset2 <numeric value> greater than or equal to zero.
  • Sets distance from End1 connect point to left side of End4 (saddle). Limited by System2 Assembly property.
Nested Type Radius
  • Sets curved branches.
Radius 1 (R1)

Run1 Radius

<numeric value> greater than or equal to zero.
  • Sets the inside radius between End1 and End3.
Radius 2 (R2)

Run3 Radius

<numeric value> greater than or equal to zero.
  • Sets the inside radius between End1 and End4.
Radius 2 (R2)

  • Sets the inside radius between End2 and End3.

  • Sets left offset between End1 and End3. Left saddle side is aligned to End1 connect point with a zero value.

  • Sets left offset between End1 and End4. Left saddle side is aligned to End1 connect point with a zero value.

  • Sets the length of throat of Run1 branch at the End3. Adds to L3. Minimum 2, default 6, for nested fittings.
Run1 Type Radius
  • Sets type of Run1 branch at End3 as Radius.
Run1 Vane Size <numeric value>;<numeric value>
  • Sets the size of vanes stacked in the middle of run1, each value separated with a semi colon for number of vanes set in Run1NumberOfVanes.
Run1 Vane Type 0 – ShortRadius
  • Angular vane blades are set at the middle of the run with Short radius.
1 – LongRadius
  • Angular vane blades are set at the middle of the run and extended till both openings (End1 and End3).
2 – ShortAngle
  • Short vane blades are set at the middle of the run in an angle.
3 – Long Angle
  • Long vane blades are set at the middle of the run in an angle, and extended till both openings.
Run2 Straight Length <numeric value>
  • Sets straight length between End1 and center of End3.
Run3 Angle <angle value> between 5° and 90°
  • Sets branch angle between End1 and End4.
Run3 Number Of Vanes <integer>
  • Sets number of vane blades stacked in the middle of run1 between End1 and End4. Default 0, for nested fittings.
Run3 Straight Length <numeric value>
  • Sets the straight length of Run2 at End4.

Run3 Throat1 Length <numeric value> greater than 2.
  • Sets the length of throat opening of Run3 at the End1. Minimum 2, default 6, for nested fittings.
Run3 Throat2 Length <numeric value>
  • Sets the length of throat of Run3 branch at the End4. Adds to L4. Minimum 2, default 6, for nested fittings.
Run3 Type Radius
  • Sets type of Run2 branch at End4 as Radius.

Saddle1 Length <numeric value>
  • Sets the length of the bottom saddle where it meets the main fitting body.
Saddle2 Length <numeric value>
  • Sets the length of the top saddle where it meets the main fitting body.
System1 Assembly <null value>
  • Frees bottom saddle from any symmetry constraints.

inset= <numeric value>:<numeric value>
  • Sets bottom saddle inset value based on ratio of keyed in values and largest possible value for inset. Example: For input <inset=X:Y, solve equation Inset1=MaxInset*X/(X+Y)

  • Frees top saddle from any symmetry constraints.

  • Sets the branch (at end2) length of cross along top side.

  • Sets distance between End1 and End2 connect points.

  • Sets overall length of fitting.
